ONE BELL

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

One Bell is a free kettlebell workout app. This page explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and what choices you have. I built this app for myself first, and I've tried to keep it as straightforward and honest as everything else about it.

What the app does without an account

You can use every core feature of One Bell — generating workouts, watching exercise demos, logging weights, tracking your history and streaks, and viewing progress charts — without ever creating an account. In this mode, your data is stored only on your own device, in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to me or anyone else.

What happens if you create an account

Signing in is optional, and only exists to sync your data across multiple devices (for example, your phone and a tablet). If you choose to sign in — by email and password, a magic link, or Google sign-in — the app stores the following in a secure backend database (provided by Supabase):

None of this information is sold, shared with advertisers, or used for anything beyond making the app work for you across your own devices.

Basic site analytics

The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall traffic to the site — for example, how many people visit. This does not use cookies and does not track individual users across other websites.

What the app doesn't do

Your choices

You can sign out at any time, which stops any further syncing. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted entirely, contact me directly using the information below, and I'll take care of it.

Children's privacy

One Bell is not directed at children, and it isn't intended for use by anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this same page with a new "last updated" date.
